To provide a space where academics can meet and work with businesses and other institutions at the LSE’s central London campus. The space is used for sharing knowledge and creating innovative solutions to business, policy and societal challenges.


In order to assist the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) in meeting the challenges of the Lambert Report on Innovation we advised on the development of the Box Space at the LSE. Box is an example of a new type of hybrid academic/commercial space that blurs the boundaries between the classroom, the laboratory, the office, and the club.The Box space is specifically designed for encouraging collaboration and supporting innovative decision-making.
